Compensation:

$17 - $18 hourly


Responsibilities:
  • Perform oil and fluid changes on trucks and heavy equipment
  • Grease chassis, suspensions, steering components, and driveline parts
  • Inspect vehicles for basic mechanical issues and report findings to senior mechanics
  • Check and top off fluids (engine oil, coolant, transmission, hydraulic, DEF)
  • Replace basic wear items such as filters, belts, hoses, and wiper blades
  • Assist mechanics with repairs and shop organization
  • Perform basic tire checks, rotations, and air pressure adjustments
  • Maintain a clean and organized shop, tools, and work areas
  • Follow safety procedures and company maintenance standards
  • Complete maintenance documentation and inspection reports

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Mechanical aptitude or prior experience with vehicles, equipment, or maintenance
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools and shop equipment
  • Willingness to learn diesel and hydraulic systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dirty, and physically demanding environment
  • Valid driver’s license required (CDL a plus, but not required)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
