Laboratory Technician

Job Title: Laboratory Technician I
Job Duration: 3 Months on W2 (Temp to Hire)
Location: Cleveland, OH
Shift: Sunday – Thursday 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM

Job Description:
Level III: 5-7 years. Follows experimental procedures and generate reliable data in a timely manner Provides independent thought, contributes to and designs his/her own experiments. Individual contributor for his or her projects or task with guidance from a group or project leader. Able to effectively listen and communicate within the work team, providing clear and concise documentation of technical results, and able to orally present work.
Candidates who are ready to touch paint, perform “check mixes” (mixing together raw materials according to a recipe) and perform some basic bench testing including viscosity, density cup, and others.
Have at least some established bench skills that will be able to start preparing paint samples according to a recipe and testing them fairly quickly with minimal instruction. Samples will typically be 1-2 gallons, but there will be the occasional need to work with and be able to lift 5-gallon pails at 50 or so lbs.

SHORT TERM 4/6 week assignment, could extend possibly
Shift would be 3rd shift S-Th. Nominally, it would be 10 PM - 6:30 AM with 30 minute lunch, but that is flexible if needed
