Customer Account Specialist Direct Hire

RemX is seeking a proactive and detail-driven Customer Account Specialist to support key client relationships and coordinate operational processes from order through delivery. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.

Location: Depew, NY

Hours: 8:30-5 Monday-Friday
Pay Rate: $23/hour
Position Type: Direct Hire | Immediate Opening

What You’ll Do

• Review and prepare customer quotes, agreements, and required documentation with a high degree of accuracy
• Coordinate production and shipment timelines with international manufacturing partners
• Facilitate sample preparation and product testing requests to meet customer deadlines
• Partner with internal departments to ensure smooth order processing and fulfillment
• Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
• Manage and resolve customer inquiries or concerns from start to finish
• Process credit memos and ensure proper documentation is submitted
• Maintain organized and accurate customer records (electronic and physical)
• Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiencies

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to research, analyze information, and make sound decisions
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively
• Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a team
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with e-commerce systems, EDI, and shipping platforms is a plus
• Strong documentation and recordkeeping skills
