Position Summary

At HHC, our Team Members play a vital role in delivering an exceptional guest experience. Team Members are responsible for a variety of restaurant operations, including food preparation, customer service, teamwork, cleanliness, and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for both guests and fellow employees.

This position requires individuals who are dependable, energetic, customer-focused, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Training & Performance

  • Follow all procedures, standards, and guidelines outlined in the HHC training program.

  • Learn and perform assigned job duties according to company expectations.

  • Maintain attention to detail and meet performance standards.

  • Seek additional training or clarification when needed.

Teamwork & Communication

  • Work cooperatively with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations.

  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.

  • Address questions, concerns, and workplace issues professionally through appropriate channels.

  • Follow management direction and support restaurant goals.

Food Preparation & Equipment Operation

  • Prepare food and beverages according to company recipes and procedures.

  • Safely operate restaurant equipment, including but not limited to:

    • Ice cream machines

    • Lemonade machines

    • Fryers

    • Warmers

    • Steam tables

    • Food preparation equipment

  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Guest Service

  • Greet guests with a friendly and positive attitude.

  • Take customer orders accurately.

  • Prepare and serve beverages and food items.

  • Package orders and ensure product quality before delivery.

  • Maintain a welcoming atmosphere and provide exceptional guest experiences.

Cleaning & Maintenance

  • Maintain cleanliness throughout the restaurant during all hours of operation.

  • Clean and sanitize dining areas, restrooms, kitchen equipment, utensils, and high-touch surfaces.

  • Sweep, mop, and perform routine cleaning tasks.

  • Assist with interior and exterior restaurant cleanliness as assigned.

Appearance & Professionalism

  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance.

  • Wear the required HHC uniform and comply with all appearance standards.

  • Represent HHC professionally at all times.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years of age.

  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, holidays, opening shifts, and closing shifts.

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive movements.

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds (occasionally up to 75 pounds with assistance).

  • Ability to work in close quarters and around hot equipment.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Transportation & Communication

  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work.

  • Must have reliable access to a phone or other means of communication for scheduling and work-related communication.
