Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Desired Qualifications:
- Hold an active Colorado Special Education License, or eligibility to obtain one through reciprocity
- Experience supporting elementary-aged students is highly valued

- Knowledge of IDEA and up-to-date special education compliance practices
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted instruction and support to students receiving special education services (mild/moderate emphasis)
- Implement, monitor, and document progress toward IEP goals
- Maintain meticulous compliance records and required documentation
- Offer resource or inclusion services based on anticipated caseloads
- Partner closely with district staff, parents, and external service providers to ensure student success
- Take part in student evaluations and team meetings, lending valuable insights to collaborative efforts
