Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:
- Valid state certification in Special Education (or eligibility to obtain)
- Demonstrated experience working in PK-5 settings
- Understanding and application of behavioral intervention strategies for moderate behaviors
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and colleagues
- Ability to create an inclusive, individualized learning atmosphere
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for assigned students
- Provide direct instruction and support to students in self-contained and push-in environments
- Monitor, assess, and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success
- Foster a supportive, safe, and engaging classroom environment
- Use proactive behavior management techniques to promote positive social-emotional development
