Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
• Valid General Education teaching license with IVP clearance required
• Previous experience teaching at the elementary or middle school level is highly desirable
• Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to create inclusive, engaging lesson plans across all core subjects
• Adaptability and commitment to supporting diverse learners

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive instruction to a 6th-grade classroom, covering all major core subjects (Math, Science, English, Social Studies, etc.)
• Design and implement creative, standards-based lesson plans
• Assess student learning and adapt instructional strategies as needed
• Cultivate a positive, supportive class culture that encourages respect and curiosity
• Collaborate with colleagues and school staff to ensure student success
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and progress reports
• Participate in parent-teacher conferences and ongoing professional development

You’ll be working full-time, 37.5 hours per week, with one school assignment for the duration of the school year (July 27th—end of school year).
