Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification for the state
• Experience working with students with a range of disabilities, learning differences, or behavioral needs
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong classroom management abilities and knowledge of evidence-based instructional strategies
• Comfortable developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Ability to adapt lessons and approaches to meet each student’s unique needs and goals

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging instruction tailored to students with exceptionalities
• Develop, monitor, and update IEPs in collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Provide accommodations, modifications, and supports to ensure student access to the curriculum
• Track and evaluate student progress, documenting achievements and growth
• Foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages student confidence, social-emotional growth, and academic success
• Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and administrators to ensure every student’s needs are met
