Day in the life

Step into our Houston, TX facility each morning as the go-to leader for building systems performance. You’ll map out the maintenance plan, assign work to technicians, and walk the floor to verify equipment health. When a mechanical hiccup appears or an electrical anomaly emerges, you’re the first call—diagnosing quickly, deciding the fix, and keeping operations moving.

What you’ll lead
  • Guide and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, setting priorities and coaching best practices.
  • Oversee preventive maintenance rounds on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical assets to prevent downtime.
  • Troubleshoot and repair issues spanning mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Coordinate and schedule work to minimize impact to production and building occupants.
  • Keep meticulous records of work performed, parts used, and inventory levels.
  • Champion safety—enforce procedures, ensure compliance, and model safe behavior.
  • Onboard and train new team members to accelerate their success.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to address requests and improve facility reliability.
What you bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a relevant technical certification is preferred.
  • 5+ years in facility or industrial maintenance, including 2+ years leading others.
  • Hands-on knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general mechanical systems.
  • Detail-driven problem solver with strong follow-through.
  • Collaborative leader who can also work independently when needed.
  • Clear, professional communication and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to support after-hours needs and on-call coverage.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
