Financial Reporting Consultant 

Portland, OR | Onsite/Hybrid | 4-Month Contract
$40-$50/hour DOE

CV Resources is partnering with a growing, private equity-backed organization to identify an experienced Financial Reporting Consultant for an immediate contract engagement.

This role will play a critical part in consolidating financial information across multiple operating companies and ERP systems while supporting executive-level financial reporting and analysis. The ideal candidate will bring strong financial reporting expertise, advanced Excel skills, and experience working in complex, multi-entity environments.

Position Details

• Title: Financial Reporting Consultant

• Compensation: $45-$50/hour DOE
• Location: Portland, OR
• Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare consolidated financial reporting packages across multiple entities
• Consolidate financial information from various ERP systems into a centralized reporting structure
• Maintain, update, and improve an existing master Excel reporting workbook
• Analyze financial results and investigate variances
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of financial reporting data
• Support executive leadership with reporting deliverables and ad hoc financial analysis
• Assist with process improvement initiatives related to reporting and data management
• Collaborate with accounting and finance teams across multiple business units

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of accounting, financial reporting, or FP&A experience
• Strong multi-entity consolidation experience
• Experience working with multiple ERP systems
• Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and financial modeling
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities

Preferred Experience

• Financial reporting in a multi-company environment
• Consolidation and management reporting
• Experience supporting executive leadership teams
• Background within private equity-backed or fast-paced organizations
