Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time, school-based contract position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference supporting elementary students who benefit from targeted instructional strategies. Located near Union, SC, you’ll be a dedicated advocate, providing specialized support in a collaborative and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver resource instruction in core academic subjects such as reading and math, utilizing both push-in and pull-out models.
- Create and implement individualized learning plans aligned with IEP goals to ensure student growth.
- Support inclusion by co-teaching and consulting with general education staff to optimize student learning experiences.
- Track student progress meticulously, maintaining detailed and accurate documentation.
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and manage compliance-related paperwork to support positive student outcomes.
- Work closely with special education and general education teams to foster a comprehensive support network for students.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid (or pending) South Carolina Special Education certification.
- Previous experience in a resource or inclusion setting is highly valuable.
- Demonstrated excellence in collaboration, flexibility, and instructional delivery.
- Strong ability to address both academic and behavioral development for elementary-aged learners.
