Shipping and Receiving Associate

Location: Donald, OR
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, DOE
Job Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

We are seeking dependable and hardworking individuals to join our team as Shipping & Receiving / Production Assistants. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a manufacturing environment that produces heavy-duty industrial products used in commercial, stationary, and marine applications.

Multiple openings available! Two positions need to be filled immediately, with additional openings becoming available in the near future.

Schedule

• Monday - Friday
• 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
• Occasional overtime may be required before or after scheduled shifts

Responsibilities

• Perform shipping and receiving duties using pick sheets
• Load and unload products using cranes, dollies, and other material-handling equipment
• Stage materials and finished products for shipment
• Package products for delivery
• Assist in production operations as needed
• Use hand tools including grinders, impact guns, and air-powered tools
• Maintain a safe and organized work area
• Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines

Qualifications

• Previous shipping/receiving or manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
• Comfortable standing, sitting, bending, twisting, and performing physical tasks throughout the shift
• Basic math skills, including knowledge of fractions, are helpful
• Ability to work safely around large, heavy steel products
• Steel-toed boots required

Work Environment

• Manufacturing environment with loud noise levels
• Exposure to dirt, dust, and solvent odors
• Work with carbon steel and stainless-steel products
• Safety is a top priority due to the size and weight of materials handled

Additional Information

Employees who may be assigned to paint booth duties will be required to complete a respirator fit test and medical evaluation. Due to respirator requirements, facial hair must be minimal to ensure a proper seal.
