Job Description
Core Responsibilities
Clinical Duties:
- Patient Intake: Interview patients to record their medical history, current symptoms, and chief complaints.
- Vitals: Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, weight, and height.
- Exam Prep: Prepare examination rooms, sterilize medical instruments, and ensure sanitary conditions.
- Assistance: Assist physicians directly during patient examinations and minor surgical procedures.
- Lab Work: Collect and process biological specimens (blood, urine, etc.) for basic diagnostic laboratory tests.
- Medication Administration: Prepare and administer medications or injections as directed by a licensed physician.
Administrative Duties:
- Reception: Greet patients, answer phone calls, and manage front desk operations.
- Scheduling: Book patient appointments and coordinate hospital admissions or outside referrals.
- Record Keeping: Update and maintain accurate Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Billing & Coding: Process medical billing, verify insurance coverage, and handle prior authorizations

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
