    Job Details
  • Licensed Psychologist responsible for professional mental health care for inmates/residents.
  • Conduct psychological screenings and assessments based on records review and clinical interviews.
  • Collaborate with mental health team including psychiatrists, physicians, nurses, social workers to integrate treatment activities.
  • Develop, implement, and modify individual treatment plans based on evaluation of needs and functioning.
  • Make regular rounds in segregation or confined housing to assess inmate adjustment and mental health needs.
  • Provide mental health assessments, counseling, and interventions for inmates in crisis.
  • Consult with psychiatry, nursing, medical, educational, chaplain, security staff to understand behavioral escalations and mental health changes.
    Job Requirements
  • Minimum two (2) years of clinical experience, including one year in a comparable position.
  • Must be at least board eligible to qualify for privileges.
  • Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Doctoral degree in Psychology.
  • Must possess a current, unrestricted license to practice psychology in Tennessee.
  • Valid driver's license required.
    Schedule Information
  • Full time, 40 hours per week.
  • Shift length: 8 hours per day.
  • Contract length: 13 weeks.
