Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist (Cath Lab Tech)
Location: Omaha, NE
Shift: 07:30 AM – 04:00 PM + On-Call

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cath Lab Technologist to join a dynamic cardiovascular team. The candidate will be responsible for assisting physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures, ensuring accurate monitoring, and maintaining detailed documentation throughout procedures.

This role involves working across multiple campuses within the health system, with call responsibilities covering emergent cases. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cardiac procedures and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures (scrubbing and monitoring)

• Perform and support procedures including:

  • Left heart catheterizations

  • Stent placements

  • ICD and pacemaker insertions

• Monitor patients and document procedural data accurately

• Operate and maintain cath lab equipment (Siemens Cath, Siemens Sensis, Philips IVUS, Apollo)

• Ensure adherence to hospital policies and patient safety protocols

• Participate in on-call rotation and respond within required timeframe

• Float between campuses as needed

Requirements

Requirements:

• Certifications:

  • ARRT or RCIS (Required)

  • BLS (Required)

• Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience

  • Experience with cardiac interventions and procedures required

  • Travel experience preferred (not mandatory)

• Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of cardiac procedures and patient care

  • Experience with EMR systems (EPIC preferred)

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
