• Either Family Medicine or Internal Medicine board certification accepted
Assignment Details
• Dates: July 3 (8a) - July 6 (8a)
• Shift times: 7a-7a (24-hour coverage)
• Coverage type: 24-hour continuous coverage including unrestricted call
• Call structure: physician is the only provider on call during shifts; unrestricted call while not onsite includes nursing home call coverage in the county
• Census: ~14 patients
• Setting: 25-bed hospital, Level IV trauma
• Patient population: adult and geriatric
• Support: 1 PA, onsite lab and radiology
• EMR: Epic
Clinical Details
• Full-spectrum inpatient hospital coverage
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Sole physician coverage including nursing home call in the county
Requirements
• Board Certified (Family Medicine or Internal Medicine)
• Active Kentucky license
• Active Kentucky DEA
• BLS
• Self-query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation
Compensation
• Rate: $3,000 per 24-hour shift (minimum 4 gratis hours included); call-back rate $325/hour after gratis hours
• Malpractice provided
• Travel and lodging reimbursed
