Machine Operator - Now Hiring

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to join their team on 1st and 2nd shift. As a Machine Operator, you will be an essential part of the production department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have previous machine operator experience, production skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machine Operator

Location: Altavista, VA

Pay Range: $15.00 to $15.55 an hour 

Shift: 1st shift 12 hours and 2nd shift 8 hours 

What's the Job?

• Inspect, label, and package raw and finished products to ensure quality standards are met
• Operate manufacturing machinery efficiently and safely
• Maintain accurate records in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices
• Work in a clean-room environment when required
• Follow safety protocols and report any issues to supervision

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in machine operation 
• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to pass a background check and urine drug screen
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under moderate supervision
• Reliable and punctual with a positive work ethic
