Outpatient Orthopedic Pediatric Clinic

Monday–Friday | Day Shift

Position Summary

We are seeking a Full-Time Athletic Trainer (ATC) to join our outpatient orthopedic pediatric clinic. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who is passionate about working with pediatric and adolescent patients in a collaborative, physician-led environment. The Athletic Trainer will support orthopedic providers, assist with patient care, and contribute to high-quality clinical operations in a daytime, weekday-only setting.

Schedule

  • Full-Time
  • Monday–Friday
  • Day shift (no evenings, weekends, or holidays)

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist orthopedic physicians and clinical staff during patient visits and procedures
  • Perform patient intake, documentation, and clinical flow coordination
  • Apply and remove orthopedic devices (casts, splints, braces, boots, slings)
  • Provide patient and family education on injury care, treatment plans, and rehabilitation protocols
  • Support post-operative care, brace fitting, and functional assessments
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
  • Serve as a clinical liaison between providers, patients, families, and therapy services
  • Ensure a safe, efficient, and patient-centered clinic environment
  • Comply with all clinic policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Athletic Training
  • Current BOC certification (ATC)
  • Eligible for or holding state licensure (as required)
  • CPR/AED certification
  • Experience or strong interest in pediatrics and orthopedics preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outpatient clinical setting
