Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients in a skilled nursing facility in Fredericksburg, VA regain or improve their daily skills following injuries, illnesses, or disabilities while exploring a new location.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active Virginia Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience working in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred.
- Clinical experience evaluating and treating adult and geriatric diagnoses preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with restorative programs and ADL training preferred.
- Familiarity with documentation systems used in skilled nursing facilities preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift Hours: 0800-1630.
- Work Pattern: 5x8.
- Schedule includes coverage Monday through Friday.
- Expected guaranteed hours: 35 per week.
