$16–$20/hour (depending on experience) · Full-time, ~40 hours/week

About the Role

Rochester Rentals is a growing vehicle rental company near Detroit Metro Airport (DTW). We just expanded into a larger warehouse and office and we're scaling fast. We're hiring a Lead Fleet Agent to own guest handoffs, oversee daily lot operations, and grow into an Assistant Manager role as we expand. If you've worked rentals and want to actually climb, not stay stuck at the counter, this is a ground-floor seat with real upside.

Core Responsibilities

• Check vehicles in and out: walkaround inspections, catch damage, take photos, odometer, condition notes
• Meet and hand off to guests professionally; resolve issues calmly on the lot
• Review and quality-check vehicle turnaround work before cars go out
• Operate and move company vehicles
• Keep the operation organized and every vehicle ready-to-go
• Help refine how the operation runs as we scale, all input counts

Required Qualifications

• Must be 21+ with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record (insurable to operate company vehicles)
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen (required)
• Reliable, punctual, takes ownership without being micromanaged
• Full-time availability across opening and closing shifts, including weekends
• STRONG PLUS: prior rental experience — Enterprise, Avis, Hertz, or similar. Counter or lot experience moves you to the front of the line.
