Electrical Engineer | PE License Required | Traffic & Roadway Design | REMOTE
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to oversee the design and implementation of Transportation & Roadway Design infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical and leadership skills to drive project success and foster innovation in electrical engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage electrical engineering projects from conception to completion.
- Oversee the design and implementation of roadway lighting, traffic signals, and power systems.
- Ensure compliance with national and state electrical codes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate smart infrastructure solutions.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and quality control processes.
- Develop and maintain client relationships to foster business development opportunities.
- Train and mentor junior engineering staff and promote a culture of learning and development.
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in electrical engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) with Masters degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure required.
- 8+ years professional experience in electrical engineering and infrastructure management.
- 3+ years leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of roadway design and construction, including traffic signal and power systems.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, AGI 32, and other engineering design software.
- Understanding of renewable energy systems, including solar and energy storage technologies.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
