Description

American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist specializing in General/Vascular ultrasound with a minimum of 2 years of experience and ARDMS certifications in AB, OB, and RVT.

Details
  • Hospital-based diagnostic imaging position performing general, abdominal/OB-GYN, and vascular ultrasound studies
  • Full-time schedule of 32–40 hours per week on either 8 or 10-hour day shifts
  • Flexibility in scheduling required, including willingness to cover other shifts as needed
  • 13-week contract
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound experience required
  • Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program required
  • Active BLS required
  • ARDMS certifications in AB, OB-GYN, and RVT required
  • Active state license required if applicable
  • Must be able to stand 7–8 hours and walk 6–7 hours per workday
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and handle awkward loads up to 100+ lbs as needed
  • DOB and SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
  • Perform high-quality general, abdominal/OB-GYN, and vascular ultrasound studies in compliance with facility policies and procedures
  • Assist radiologists with procedures and competently set up related equipment
  • Work with EMR and PACS systems to generate, complete, and transmit exam orders and images
  • Perform, record, and analyze QC data to maintain accuracy and precision of diagnostic results
  • Responsible for equipment checks, reporting malfunctions, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment
  • Patient transport is part of this role
  • Position requires the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, regulated environment
