Key Responsibilities

• Prepare operating room, instruments, and sterile field prior to surgery
• Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and ready for procedures
• Assist surgeons by passing instruments, supplies, and equipment during procedures
• Maintain sterile technique and support patient safety at all times
• Assist with surgical counts (sponges, needles, instruments) and specimen handling
• Monitor needs of the surgical team and anticipate next steps during procedures
