Our client, a manufacturing organization specializing in precision machining, is seeking a CNC Programmer to join their team. As a CNC Programmer, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting the Machine Shop team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent collaboration abilities which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: CNC Programmer
Location: Hobart, WI
Pay Range:
Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
What's the Job?
- Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for mills and lathes using G & M code and CAM software
- Develop machining processes, tooling selections, and setup instructions for new and existing parts
- Support machinists with troubleshooting programs, setups, tooling, and machining issues
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications
- Collaborate closely with Engineering and the Machine Shop to improve manufacturability and efficiency
What's Needed?
- Candidates must have lathe and mill programming experience, along with proficiency in Mastercam software
- Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading
- Familiarity with machining processes, tolerances, and manufacturing best practices
- Proficient computer skills
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED; 3+ years of CNC programming, setup, and hands-on machining experience preferred
