    Job Description

    We have a part-time opening for a Bakery Clerk 1.

    Must be able to work various shifts per week and be available weekdays and weekends.

    Title:  Bakery Clerk 1

    FLSA:  Non-exempt (Hourly rate; overtime eligible)

    Reports to:  Bakery Manager

    SummaryTo assure high quality customer service and assist in department operations.  Provide support toward department objectives and helps to drive sales. 

    Assignments and work direction will be provided by Bakery Manager, Bakery Merchandiser, or the manager/person in charge.

    Essential Functions:

    • Follow all Red Shirt Service guidelines at all times
    • Greet each customer as they approach the Bakery counter
    • Process each customer order with proper quantities, quality and price
    • Promote product through selling sessions and suggestive selling
    • Answers questions, assists customers with special requests and provide assistance as appropriate
    • Follows proper safety procedures
    • Stocks and rotates product
    • Code date product and remove all out dated product or product unfit for sale
    • Performs proper breakout of product
    • Follows donut making procedures
    • Follows all proper cleaning, sanitation, and food safety guidelines
    • Follows proper packaging, labeling, and merchandising of product
    • Follows all store and department policies as stated in the teammate handbook and any other manuals
    • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
