Position: Banquet Prep Cook
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
-Set up and stock station with all necessary supplies
-Prepare and cook food for service (e.g., chopping vegetables, butchering meat, preparing sauces and dressings, recording items that are running low)
-Clean up station, wrap and put away food not used.
-Organize and clean all food preparation areas.
-Ensure that all foods and prepared items are maintained at the highest quality during the preparing, cooking and presentation.
-Maintain consistency of all foods with great attention quality, taste and presentation.
-Comply with all nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
-Ensure that food comes out simultaneously at schedule time.
-Assist co-workers to ensure a timely and smooth service.
-Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
-Maintain a positive and professional approach with your coworkers and guests
-Perform additional duties and follow instructions, as requested by supervisor(s) and/or manager(s).
