Famous Anthony's heart and soul of the business resides in the kitchen. In keeping with tradition, our kitchens are open and we manage from the kitchen. Our Shift Managers are responsible for controlling the quality and timeliness of all food leaving the kitchen. Our average ticket time is 5-7 minutes! In addition to cooking lunch and dinner, our Shift Managers are responsible for addressing any issues during their shift and communicating to other members of management. This includes handling team member concerns, covering shifts, reporting maintenance concerns and ensuring guest satisfaction.
The position requires a majority of time spent on your feet in a fast paced kitchen, controlling the quality and pace of the food being prepared while concurrently managing the restaurant. Our Shift Managers must be able to coach and motivate employees, enforce sanitary practices, minimize waste and control labor costs. Must have either previous cooking experience or restaurant management experience.
