    Job Description

    Kent Kwik is growing and looking for a hard-working team player to join our team as an Assistant Manager with unlimited future growth opportunities.

    The Assistant Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining Guest Services. If you have the confidence, determination, a positive and friendly attitude and a desire to learn, then we want you to join our team! Assistant Managers are also responsible for the various tasks involved in the overall store operation including but not limited to controlling expenses, cash and inventory shortages. Other responsibilities include maximizing inventory sales, profits and meeting and exceeding sales profit goals.

    Principle Duties & Responsibilities:
    •Goal oriented and outgoing personality.
    •Ability to read, write and count accurately to complete all documentation.
    •Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to run the store.
    •Cash handling experience.
    •Provides customer engagement in positive and approachable manner.
    •Assists in maintaining a clean, well-stocked store for customers during their shopping experience.
    •Ability to multi-task and perform in a fast-paced environment.
    •Helps in the unloading of merchandise from delivery trucks, organizes merchandise, and transports merchandise from stockroom to sales floor.
    •Independently stocks and recovers merchandise in the store.
    •Accurately handles customer funds and processes transactions using the POS system.
    •Remains constantly aware of customer activity to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment.
    •Performs all other duties as assigned in order to maintain an effective and profitable store operation.

    Job Requirements
    Experience: Preferred experience working in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments but not required.

    Physical Requirements: Ability to regularly lift up to 40 lbs. (and occasionally, up to 55 lbs.) from floor level to above shoulder height; must be able to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.

    Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, full-time schedule to include days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
