The complex projects and initiatives require an on site business analyst who can work with business sponsors, clients, various subject matter experts and the various interfacing business and technology groups to understand and manage requirements.
Lead and provide guidance for a small team of other analysists, while also working with product, development, and testing partners.
Review, analyze, and interpret Business Requirements Documents (BRD) and providing feedback on key functionalities and technical feasibility
Analyze and translate BRDs into Functional Requirements Document (FRD)
Review, analyze, and interpret financial industry standard file formats like ISOXML.
Create business model and logical data models for cash management products
Reverse engineer the business model for the Cash management products on existing applications
Perform mapping from industry standards to Citi proprietary formats or database
Adhere to the requirements processes as well as SDLC to gather, write and maintain FRDs. Conduct FRD walkthroughs for multiple teams (Development, Quality Control, User Acceptance Testing, Training, Market Readiness and Operations) to explain new and enhanced functionality
Create or update customer documentation
Investigate production issues (Level 3 support)
Develop prototypes and Business Use Case Scenarios to facilitate the gathering and documentation of requirements
Partner with the business and technical teams and create and maintain the Functional design for the various modules in the platform
Identify, create and maintain Functional Requirements, User Interface requirements and Service interface requirements per the processes established in the organization
Document and maintain Use Cases, Functional Design, and System Specification
Provide estimate and communicate cross-functional impact to ensure complete estimate
Utilize the approved tools to maintain and develop FRDs
Work with cross functional teams across multiple countries and time zones
Follow the SDLC process established in the organization and create and maintain all relevant requirements artefacts
Knowledge / Experience:
Knowledge of API technology is big plus
File based application experience a big plus
Candidate should be willing to work late in the evening India time on a regular basis in order to interact with US business/product and onshore team to meet urgent requests by Clients
Ability to understand customer business process and requirements and translate into a functional requirement across a wide array of products and technologies
Prior experience with Cash Management products, treasury payments and Electronic Banking
Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation of complex information and data)
Working on multiple industry standards like SWIFT, EDIFACT, ANSI X12, SAP and ISO 20022 XML formats
Working on flat files (positional, delimiter and tagged), SWIFT messages, custom file formats
Prior experience with UML
Ability to draft Use Cases, Process Flows, and Activity Diagrams.
Experience in supporting external clients which includes attending calls, conducting product demos and help triage client issues
Experience with creating data models, process flows and sequence diagrams are must
Excellent proficiency of MS Project, MS Visio, MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Ability to create and interpret SQL queries and related software (SQL Developer)
Should have experience working on JIRA
Good analytical and problem analysis skills
A strong commitment to quality and efficiency
Bachelor's degree (in Science, Computers, Information Technology or Engineering)
