DRIVERS (MUST BE 18+ YRS. OLD)

We are hiring for our new store in Tamarac! This position is for a Delivery Driver. Applicants should be eager to lead, do things right, energetic, be accountable, and have ownership in what they do. Outstanding customer service and moving with a sense of urgency. 

Responsibilities include:

• Complete a daily beautification list with your team.
• Locating delivery addresses.
• Deliver sandwiches in a fast but SAFE MANOR.
• Make change when customers pay in cash.
• Performs other related duties as required.

We go by one golden rule for the drivers. FAST ON YOUR FEET NOT ON THE STREET!! Meaning you can run to the door but as soon as you get to your car its obeying speed limits and using turn signals!!

Must have:

• Reliable transportation and the ability to use your own vehicle
• Valid driver’s license.
• Florida registered vehicle.
• Valid Florida insurance on your vehicle.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Work Environment: Must be able to speak, read and write the English language fluently and clearly. Ability to use basic math, addition and subtraction, understand basic fractions.

Wage could make $10 to $12 per hour with tips + mileage.

In-Shop Sandwich Makers are responsible for greeting customers when they enter and exit the restaurant, providing world-class customer service and executing fast and accurate sandwiches while maintaining sanitation standards.
 
Responsibilities include:
-Complete a daily beautification list with your team.
-Take telephone orders and complete delivery tickets.
-Make fast, accurate and consistent sandwiches.
-Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the restaurant including all tables, floors, windows, beverage station, restroom, etc.
-Greet customers and takes orders – operate cash register – collect payment from customer and make change.
-Performs other related duties as required.

We want your time at work to NOT feel like work, while still attending to customer’s needs!!

Must:
-Be able and willing to work nights and weekends.
-Have a sense of urgency.
-Must be able to pass sandwich test at end of first two weeks. 
-Be loud, confident and have a BIG smile.
-Work well with others. We want a DRAMA FREE work environment!
-Maintain professional appearance at all times in compliance with Jimmy John’s dress code.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Work Environment: Must be able to speak, read and write the English language fluently and clearly. Position requires bending, reaching, stooping, climbing, repetitive motions, cognitive skills, lifting up to 50lbs, standing and moving about the unit the entire workday.
 
When we say FREAKY FAST we mean FREAKY FAST! From the moment the order is taken……… to the moment the sandwich is ready to go……. Will be 30 seconds or less!!!!!!! 

Starting wage $8.75/hr, opportunity for increase after menu test and probation period ends!
