We are currently seeking a high-performing and part-time / flexible Member Service Representative, who is focused on helping our members achieve their financial goals and dreams. The Member Service Representative provides a variety of sales and service functions such as assisting our members in understanding all of the valuable & unique differences which an Educational Systems Federal Credit Union membership offers and by supporting the Branch Manager in maintaining a member focused sales and service culture within the branch. The Member Services Representative also supports the Credit Union’s membership and asset growth goals by participating in sales campaigns and community outreach events, as determined by the Branch Manager. This requires the willingness to go the extra mile to assist our members by effectively cross-selling the products and services that meet the member’s specific needs.
High school diploma or equivalent (GED), Associate degree preferred. Minimum of 2 (two) years experience at a financial services organization is required. Must also have experience selling and cross selling products or services or sales training. Must be able to meet and /or exceed sales goals. Ability to perform routine mathematical calculations. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to function in a financial institution branch environment and utilize standard office equipment including but not limited to: PC, 10 key calculator, fax, copier, telephone, etc. A typical work week is comprised of four (4), five-hour shifts, which are subject to change as traffic dictates.
