Lycoming College seeks applications for Day Custodian. Custodians perform routine and non-routine custodial maintenance as part of a team assigned to specific buildings or areas on campus. Responsibilities include the proper use of custodial materials, supplies and equipment to perform custodial and housekeeping services. Specific duties include dusting, polishing, floor cleaning, cleaning interior and exterior surfaces, trash and recyclable materials removal. Custodians may assist with set-up of facilities for meetings, classrooms, conferences and special events. The day shift position is scheduled to work 5am to 1pm Monday through Friday. One year of industiral or commerical cleaning experience preferred. Must be energetic, a postiive team player, and able to follow oral and written instructions. Physical requirements include the ability to frequently bend, kneel, stoop, push/pull, reach above and below shoulder height, climb ladders and stairs, routinely lift and carry objects up to 25lbs. unassited and move objects up to 50lbs. with assistance as needed.
