The function of this position is to provide supervision of and assistance to participants in the Adult Day Care Program. The major focus of the position is to maintain the participants’ safety, well-being, dignity and general overall involvement in day to day activities, as well as encourage and promote independent living skills. Assist the Activities Facilitator in person-centered planning and implementing recreational, social and therapeutic activities, in accordance with program mission.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
State tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) required as well as a High School Diploma or a GED.
Minimum two (2) years’ experience working with physically and/or mentally impaired adults.

Employee must maintain a valid driver's license and a driving record acceptable to Goodwill's liability insurance provider. If at any time the employee is unable to maintain a valid driver’s license and a driving record acceptable to GESMV’s liability insurance provider, they must immediately notify Human Resources.
Must maintain the ability to pass a criminal background check and random drug screens.
