Lycoming College seeks applications for Night Custodians. Custodians perform routine and non-routine custodial duties as part of a team assigned to specific buildings or areas on campus. Responsibilities include the proper use of materials, supplies and equipment to perform custodial services. Specific duties include dusting, polishing, sanitizing, floor care, cleaning interior and exterior surfaces, and removal of trash and recyclable materials. Custodians may assist with set-up of facilities for meetings, classrooms, conferences and special events. The night shift position is scheduled to work Sunday through Thursday, 9pm-5am. Required Experience & Qualifications:
High School graduate or equivalent; one year of industrial or commerical cleaning experience preferred. Must be energetic, a positive team player, and able to follow oral and written instructions. Physical requirements include the ability to frequently bend, kneel, stoop, push/pull, reach above and below shoulder height, climb ladders and stairs, routinely lift and carry objects up to 25lbs unassisted and up to 50lbs with assistance as needed.
