The University of Southern California (USC), founded in 1880, is the largest private employer in the City of Los Angeles. As an employee of USC, you will be a part of a world-class research university and a member of the "Trojan Family," which is comprised of the faculty, students and staff that make the university what it is.

USC Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is seeking to hire a Clinical Instructor (Fellow) to join the Spine Medicine Fellowship. Applications are reviewed each year between May and July with a projected start date in August. Additional information can be found at: .

The spine medicine fellow will work alongside physiatrists in obtaining expertise in multidisciplinary spine management, which will include the prescription of physical therapy modalities and orthotics with exposure. Substantial training in interventional spine procedures (e.g., epidurals, nerve blocks) and minor surgical procedures (spinal cord stimulators and vertebral augmentation) will be emphasized. A large focus will also be dedicated to electrodiagnostic medicine to assist with evaluating a patient with spine pain to include differential diagnoses for disease entities that mimic symptoms of spinal radiculopathy. Ample opportunities exist to participate in research. The fellowship is a full-time, one-year program.

The University of Southern California strongly values diversity and is committed to equal opportunity in employment. Women and men, and members of all racial and ethnic groups, people with disabilities, and veterans are encouraged to apply.
