Responsible for recording sales transactions on the cash register and providing general customer Assistance. Responsible for taking orders, making pizzas, and maintaining and stocking designated stations by performing the following duties: 1. Prepares food for the restaurant prior to and during meal time rush in a timely manner. 2. Answer phone with proper greeting and order taking procedures. 3. Provides friendly and courteous service to each guest upon arrival and departure. 4. Inspects and assists in the maintenance of the lobby and dining area to ensure guest satisfaction is met and maintained. 5. Ensure proper cash register procedures, including correct ringing up of all guest checks, and payment of transactions in a professional, efficient manner. 6. Accounts for all quest checks and accurately rings them up to ensure there are no cash overages or shortages. 7. Prepares pizza, dough and sauces in accordance with Pizza Joe's spec charts. Prepares, slices and chops meat, vegetables and cheese for the pizza station. 8. Reads and fills all orders according to specifications. Follow portion and quality control standards of the menu. 9. Maintains and stocks pizza stations, freezers, refrigerators and store room with food products daily. 10. Use electric choppers, stoves, pizza oven, pots, slicers, graters, can openers, knives and other preparatory utensils. 11. Performs all duties and cleans and cleans work area according to state health and safety guidelines in a safe, sanitary, quiet and efficient manner. 12. Communicates any health and/or safety concerns/violations immediately to management. 13. Prepares food according to state and local health code requirements. Ensures all equipment is working properly and holding correct temperatures once each shift. 14. Handles guest comments, compliments and suggestions tactfully and professionally. Calls manager on duty to for assistance with customer complaints. 15. Performs store opening and closing duties as needed. 16. Balances cash drawer and total currency sales each shift. 17. Must abide by all company and in-store policies. 18.Must arrive for work timely, be well groomed and in clean uniform and at all times practice good personal hygiene. 19. Perform other related duties as assigned in a cooperative and efficient manner.
