FOH Team Member - Full-time / Part-time

Zaxby's is a fast growing concept that's goal is to bring Fellowship and Real Chicken to its customers. Zaxby's cashiers are the face of our organization and are tasked with helping provide the best experience possible for the customer. They are the ones who will greet customers, walk them through the order taking process, ensure that the order is taken accurately and meet any other customer needs that may arise. Cashiers also have some responsibilities regarding prepping, bussing and cleaning.


Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Follow the Cashier Scripts
• Order Taking - Follow the Guidelines for the Order Taking Process
• Checklists - Complete checklist items correctly and in a timely manner
• Bussing - Bus tables and keep them clean and orderly
• Cleaning - Keep lobby, dining areas and bathrooms clean
• "Game Time" Expectations - Follow guidelines for peak business times (11:30am to 1:30pm & 6:00pm to 8:00pm)
• Handling customer complaints/issues - Handle customer complaints apologetically and with urgency
• Over/Shorts - Drawer cash matches the sales from the POS
• Cash integrity

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to speak and hear
• Close and distance vision
• Identify and distinguish colors
• Frequent walking with some standing at times
• Will walk for long periods of time, possibly extended distances
• Frequently lifts/carries up to 25 lbs
• Occasionally lifts/carries up to 50 lbs
• Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual
dexterity and fine motor skills
• Able to reach hands and arms in any direction and kneel and stoop repeatedly

Working Conditions:
• May be indoor or outdoor setting depending on outlet
• Varied weather conditions are expected
• Will work near moving or mechanical parts
• May work near toxic/caustic chemicals and with fumes or airborne particles.
• Varying schedule to include evenings, holidays and extended hours as business dictates
