Lead and assist with experiments, trials, and pilot scale production runs.

1. Act as process engineering expert.

2. Identify and initiate or recommend tooling, process and product design solutions through designated channels.

3. Work with and lead technicians to conduct experiments, trials, and pilot scale production.

4. Provide project managers with all necessary trial data.

5. Design minor end of arm tooling (EOAT) for Injection IML.

6. Initial installation/setup of IML automation.

7. Maintain a focus on operational excellence, initiating, executing and testing continual improvement initiatives.

8. Responsible for adherence to Berry, industry, and/or regulatory procedures.

9. Maintain and enforce all company safety, environmental and department of health requirements.

10. Give direction to techs and junior techs when necessary.

11. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.


1. BS in engineering or equivalent technical experience

2. Computer skills—Excel, Word, Outlook, and 3D design (Solidworks preferred)

3. Automation experience is a plus

4. Self-Motivated individual

5. Proven history of successfully prioritizing tasks and responsibilities

6. Ability to travel as necessary, (approximately < 10%)

7. Ability to communicate effectively with customers & vendors

8. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally
