    Job Description

    1. General
    • Assist in executing operating goals and objectives
    • Supervise FOH staff, while on shift, to ensure compliance of all SPFMG standards, codes, and practices, and communicate all exceptions GM/BOH supervisor
    • Communicate effectively to provide clear direction to staff in support of GM objectives
    • Interact with guests to insure all inquiries and opportunities are handled properly
    • Serve as a role model for all staff by consistently meeting and exceeding SPFMG standards and performing at the highest level
    • Perform the functions of the GM in his/her absence
    • Has completed SPFMG trainer requirements
    • Demonstrates working knowledge of SPFMG core recipes
    • Demonstrate positive leadership characteristics which inspire staff to meet and exceed SPFMG standards

    2. Financial
    • Assist in implementing and monitoring daily financial controls, and preparing daily management reports
    • Assist GM and BOH Supervisor in inventory processes
    • Ensure all cash handling procedures are completed accurately

    3. Operations
    • Ensure all opening, closing, and transition checklists and procedures are completed properly and recorded
    • Ensure all SPFMG steps of service are followed every shift
    • Assist in the rollout of all menu, service, and policy changes
    • Assist in monitoring staff schedules and ensure staffing levels are accurate on shift
    • Communicate and/or record any staffing deficiencies
    • Assist in monitoring food and beverage quality, recipe adherence, and line checks
    • Assist with deliveries and proper storage of all supplies and products
    • Assist in Implementing cost cutting measures
    • Report and record all accidents/incidents involving guests and/or team

    4. Human Resources/Legal
    • Responsible for executing and organizing the training and development of all FOH staff, and assist in BOH training where needed
    • Actively drive own training and development
    • Assist in ensuring compliance with restaurant safety and security policy, and ensure all codes and regulations are adhered to
    • Attend all mandatory meetings

    5. Marketing
    • Assist in executing marketing and promotional activities

    6. Repairs and Maintenance
