Kelly Services is currently recruiting for an experience Soldering Technician to work for a full-service manufacturer of Custom Wire Harnesses, Cable Assemblies, Printed Circuit Board Assemblies and Electronic Box Builds in the Brooksville, Florida area. Perform a variety of tasks related to assembling of electronic components. Soldering, wire stripping, wire routing, crimping and pinning wires, and wire harness assembly to the required schematics. Utilize small hand tools and especially those related to cable and harness building.
Rate of pay: $12 to $14 depending on experience and certification
Schedule: Monday through Friday
1st shift 7:00 am until 3:30 pm Monday through Friday - 8 hour shifts
2nd shift 3:00 pm until 1:30 am (Monday through Thursday - 10 hour days)

Skills Qualification Requirements:
Minimum 1 year experience with hand soldering surface mount and thru-hole components to manufactured PCB Assemblies in accordance with J-STD-))1 and IPC-SA-610 standards
Good working knowledge of IPC J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, and IPC-A-621
Good working knowledge or previous certification to IPC-A-7711/7721 (reword and repair is a plus)
Active certifications in any standards listed is also a plus.
Knowledge of different processes (lead and lead free) fluxes, solder, and cleaning solvents
Ability to identify electronic components and correct placement
Good understanding of manufacturing documentation ( i.e. Bill of Materials, Assembly Drawings, PCB filed, etc.) and terminology including the ability to read and comprehend technical work instructions
Skilled using Microsoft PC
Experience using a data entry (ERP) systems is plus
Ability to prioritize, manage time well and multi-task
Ability to work efficiently on assigned tasks, monitor and track quality of assemblies and communicate any discrepancies.
Good attention to detail with excellent eye-hand coordination
Ability to solder with or without magnifying ring light and/or microscope
Ability to use hand tools; cutters, wire strippers, etc. in accordance with IPC-620 Class 3.
Ability to solder per IPC-610,620 and J-STD.
Knowledge of Mil-STD with relation to cable and wire harness assemblies.
Ability to read, write and understand drawings and work instructions.
High school diploma or GED preferred
Minimum of 1-year experience in assembling military cable and wire harness assemblies preferred.
