    Citi is looking for a talented Investment & Productivity Analytics Manager within the US Consumer FP&A team

    US Consumer Bank serves over 30 million customers in their everyday banking needs. As we continue to grow, we are looking to enhance our Expense Analytics and Investment team. This team forms part of the US Consumer FP&A team with US Consumer Bank Finance.

    The Expense Analytics & Investment team has three key objectives:
    • Understand, analyze and provide recommendations on the allocation of the ~$8Bn expense base for US Consumer Bank (USCB)
    • Create a robust productivity framework to ensure the optimization of valuable resources
    • Identify, critically analyse and track new business investments to ensure alignment with business strategy & value creation for customers.
    Primary Responsibilities include
    • Analyze portfolio of Investments and recommend optimal use of resource pool, by evaluating relative merits of each prospective request in alignment with broader business strategy
    • Develop detailed financial models in partnership with business to enable strategic decision making of investment. Compare investment using a range of financial metrics and relevant benchmarks.
    • Manage the Investment database for US Consumer Bank & establish standards for how US Consumer Bank tracks, measures and ensures strategic alignment of investments
    • Strategically review US Consumer Bank cost base. Compare operating model vs peers and provide recommendations for expense optimization
    • Work with Functional partners to drive sustainable reductions to existing cost base
    • Once identified and committed, work with functional and business stakeholders to ensure execution of initiatives
    • Provide regular and ad hoc analysis on performance of productivity metrics to senior management
    We are looking for an experienced professional with the following qualifications
    • Undergraduate degree in finance and 5+ years of work experience in an analytical role (investment banking, management consulting preferred)
    • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills required, particularly in the context of evaluating the practical and economic merit of a potential investment, return adequacy and prioritizing it against competing resources
    • Ability to create and manage complex financial models and present results to business and finance leadership
    • Experience in managing large data sets and providing key insights
    • Should be a quick learner and take responsibility and ownership of work
    • Have strong leadership skills & ability to influence senior stakeholders.
    • Be highly organized and resourceful. Should have ability to manage multiple deliverables and deadlines within minimal supervision
    • Should have strong communication & presentation skills
    • Very Advanced Excel, PowerPoint knowledge required. SQL & Access experience preferred. Experience with Data Visualization Tools preferred
    • MBA or Advanced degree in Economics preferred.
