Cornerstone Hospice is looking to hire a Full Time Facilities Specialist to work in Tavares, FL. The Facilities Specialist schedules, executes, and arranges for the coordination of maintenance and repairs for all facilities of Cornerstone Hospice, Inc.
The schedule will be Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
JOB DUTIES Schedules, coordinates and supervises volunteers for indoor and outdoor maintenance and repairs. Performs facilities and/or arranges for janitorial work when volunteer help is not available. Performs repair functions for all Hospice facilities. Arranges Hospice Center conference rooms to accommodate various meeting requirements. Responsible for daily closing of the Hospice Center. Manages the facilities security system. Cooperates with staff for space management and the moving of offices and furniture. Stocks and delivers inventory to maintain adequate supply. Be on-call for all facilities problems during regular business hours and be first on- call for any after-hours facilities problems. Assists the Foundation Department in activities for special events and Women for Hospice. Conducts regularly scheduled Life Safety and AHCA required inspections.
QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma. Relevant facilities and grounds experience. Good organizational and record-keeping skills. Valid Florida driver’s license and required auto liability insurance.
