    Title:  Line Cook

    Description: Taziki’s Mediterranean Café combines a made-from-scratch approach with healthy ingredients to deliver culinary driven dishes. We are currently looking for a friendly, energetic and dependable kitchen-oriented team member, possessing a strong work ethic with a passion for food to represent our brand to the public.

    Responsibilities Line Positions (Salad Table, Grill, Roll-up and Expo), Prep and Dishwasher
    · Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with speed and efficiency
    · Preparing food in a made- from scratch kitchen before and after service periods
    · Understanding and proper use of recipe and order screens
    · Cleaning and maintaining kitchen, dish, and prep areas
    · Shift side work to include opening and closing duties

    · Previous cooking experience preferred
    · Must obtain a Food Handler’s Card
    · Proper knife skills
    · Ability to operate all necessary kitchen equipment
    · Ability to handle multiple orders in a timely manner
    · Must handle food safely when prepping and cooking
    · Follow procedures and recipes on food items
    · Retain menu and product knowledge
    · Proper personal hygiene
    · Maintain Health Department Standards throughout shift
    · Professional attitude and respect of coworkers, establishment, and the brand

    Works in a typical restaurant kitchen environment to include but not limited to: flattop
    and char grill, oven, slicer, mixer and food processor. Hours will vary and may include
    early mornings, evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
