Trains all staff in ordering, merchandising, product rotation, cash register procedures, opening, closing and cash handling. Ensures that all sales goals are met and procedures are followed. Able to perform all duties of an outlet clerk, including lifting up to 30 pounds. Sets the example for outlet personnel, including adherence to all Company safety practices, while maintaining positive customer relations. Interacts with outside vendors, sales representatives and internal departments concerning outlet transactions as required. Performs other duties as assigned.
Competencies / Skills:
Must be able to demonstrate ability to work well with employees, customers, supervisors and other people within the baking business. Strong knowledge of cash registers, cash handling, managing banking transactions and overall operation of bakery outlet. Speed and accuracy in data entry is a must. Good knowledge of general accounting principles.
Education:High School diploma or equivalent may include administrative or related schooling beyond high school.
Experience: 3-5 years of related customer service experience; 3 - 5 years of supervisory experience strongly preferred.
