    Job Description

    The Administrative Assistant to the CEO is responsible for performing diversified administrative and secretarial functions for the reporting Director and/or designee. Primary duty of performing office or non-manual work directly related to the management or general business operations of the employer or the employer's customers. Primary duty includes the exercise of discretion and independent judgment regarding matters of significance.

    • High school diploma or GED required. Associates degree in business highly preferred.
    • Desirable characteristics include a proficiency in typing, English, office procedures, and written and verbal communications.
    • Must possess ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external publics and exhibit efficiency in secretarial skills.
    • Must have a minimum of four years experience in a business office environment or a health care institution.
    • Must be able to follow directions and perform work according to department standards when no directions are given.
    • Must be emotional mature and able to function effectively under stress.
