Position Description:

Bundle Assembly Tool (BAT) is a clinical care transformation innovation initiative. The target of this initiative are patients with serious, sometimes long-term diseases (e.g., Oncology, Cardio‐Vascular, Orthopedics, Behavioral Health). Clinical outcomes for these patients vary due to the number of treatment options available and the lack of precision in determining the best course of evidence-based treatment for the patient. The objective of the initiative is to improve clinical outcomes while reducing costs and variance in treatments by creating and implementing (operationalizing) service bundles. A bundle represents every episode of care that will be delivered most frequently within a care transformation team with outlined clinical pathways. One of the main drivers of this initiative is clinical outcomes. In the bundle construction process, every possible treatment in every stage of care is outlined. This is then compared to data of how the patients were treated. The clinical outcomes of those patients determine what is put into the bundle and what is priced.
