    Job Description


    The Sr. Associate, Facilities, Corporate Insurance, is responsible for managing the corporate insurance program for Santander Consumer USA Inc.

    Essential duties and responsibilities:

    Understand business activities, identify and analyze risks and in coordination with broker, advise on related insurance options and risk management opportunities.

    Oversee submittal of claims and internal claims management.

    Responsible for coverage placement and renewals, including coordination and approval of submissions and in coordination with broker, negotiation of structure, premiums and terms.

    Other duties and responsibilities:

    Solicit and analyze quotes and terms; analyze premiums; conduct cost/benefit analysis of program options and make recommendations.

    Review binders, policies, endorsements to ensure accuracy and inclusion of negotiated terms and conditions.

    Manage day to day interaction with Management, Brokers, Insurers and Affiliates related to insurance issues.

    Maintain knowledge of industry trends.

    Review and analyze loss reports, litigation, and risk events, and coordinate with business to develop action plans.

    Advise on appropriate insurance standards for vendors.

    Prepare and present insurance governance reports/presentations to Executive Management and Board.



    9 - 12 years experience in risk management and insurance field.

    • Occasional moving and lifting of equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown.
    • Physically capable of lifting up to fifty pounds, able to bend, kneel, climb ladders.
