Establishes and maintains an equipment reliability program. Conducts an analysis of reliability problems and investigates to determine the required reliability approach for each situation, with consideration given to cost limitations for equipment uptime/downtime, repair/replacement costs and weight, size and availability of materials/equipment. Determines cost advantages of alternatives and develops action plans that comply with internal/external customer demands for reliable processes/equipment to avoid failures
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience Knowledgeable in a CMMS program with preference given to SAP Knowledgeable in precision maintenance, RCFA and TPM practices including, but not limited to: vibration analysis, laser alignment, lubrication analysis, use of infrared and sonic technologies in preventive/predictive maintenance programs

Identifies, advises and implements safety improvements. • Visibly adheres to Mohawk's Core Values and is aware of all departmental goals. • Supports the culture of accountability and communication within the THDF and Maintenance departments. • Assume a personal ownership role and the responsibility, as part of Mohawk MDF Facility. Show support for all management decisions with a positive attitude. • Must be able to organize work flow and coordinate several jobs to simultaneous completion • Must be able to resolve employee conflicts effectively • Prepares diagrams, charts, drawings, calculations and reports to define reliability problems and make recommendations for improvements • Conducts an analysis of reliability problems and investigates to determine the required reliability approach for each situation, with consideration given to cost limitations for equipment uptime/downtime, repair/replacement costs and weight, size and availability of materials/equipment. Determines cost advantages of alternatives and develops action plans that comply with internal/external customer demands for reliable processes/equipment to avoid failures • Performs root cause failure analysis on equipment, creates, implements, and follows up on corrective actions plans generated by RCFA • Establish PM and PdM schedules for all equipment, monitors effectiveness of the plan, and adjusts as required to achieve optimal performance of equipment • Knowledgeable in lubrication, vibration analysis, oil analysis, laser alignment, IR scans, and precision maintenance procedures • Keeps Maintenance Manager, maintenance persons, and production supervisors informed on all activities. • Perform "hands" on maintenance as required.
• Does "field surveys" of equipment, gathers information, analyzes and reports findings to Maintenance Manager and scheduling and planning for corrective actions. • Provide an atmosphere for teamwork and maintain a harmonious working relationship with maintenance staff, peers and other departments. • Assure compliance with maintenance schedules and standards. Checks progress, quality and quantity of work performed by maintenance technicians. • Provide troubleshooting assistance on operational problems. Answer all requests for maintenance courteously and promptly. Be part of a rotating call out schedule. • Assists in preparing detailed budgets for facility maintenance expenses. • Continually monitors the use of lubricants, machine condition and can deploy continuous improvement in this area. • Perform other duties as assigned by Maintenance Manager
