    NTT DATAServices currently seeks aSenior Systems Administratorto join our team in Washington, District of Columbia (US-DC), United States (US).

    Under general direction, the Contractor shall be responsible for activities related to system administration. We are seeking an individual who assigns personnel to various projects, directs their activities, and evaluates their work. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
    • Ensures long-term requirements of systems operations and administration are included in the overall information systems planning of the organization.
    • Responsible for the installation, maintenance, configuration, and integrity of computer software.
    • Implements operating system enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system.
    • Communicate with vendors as needed.
    • Fundamental understanding of authentication mechanisms such as Kerberos, lightweight directory access protocol (LDAP), NT LAN Manager (NTLM) and use of necessary tools to troubleshoot them.
    • Experience with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
    • Strong knowledge of PowerShell and .NET scripting.
    • Knowledge of networking concepts and technologies preferred.
    • Analytical approach to solve complex problems in complex, large-scale, and multi datacenter environments.
    • Some programming and database knowledge preferred. A working understanding of firewalls, routing, switching, and other networking fundamentals.
    Must- have Qualifications:
    • Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a system engineer or systems administrator.
    • 5+ years' experience installing, configuring and maintaining infrastructure equipment.
    • 5+ years' experience with Microsoft Operating systems, business applications, Office365 and Teams.
    Preferred skills
    • Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer preferred.
    • Proficient in Windows Server 2012R2 or Higher.
    • Proficient understanding of technology areas such as Active Directory, Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), domain name systems (DNS), Group Policy and distributed file systems (DFS).
    • Bachelor's degree, or higher, in Computer Science or IT-related field.
