SUMMARY Supervise employees in the Transportation department that drive the busses. Also supervise the golf cart attendants at the sales golf carts ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. * Supervise and coach all Transportation drivers within the Transportation Department * Transport resort guests along an established route * Transportation of employees to and from offsite parking areas * Attend and participate in staff meetings * Onsite interoffice mail delivery * Assists disabled passengers into and out of vehicle. * Operates radio or similar device to communicate with base station or other vehicles to report disruption of service. * Cleans and services vehicle with fuel, lubricants, and accessories. * Make sure the golf cart attendants are properly signing golf carts in and out. * Make sure all golf carts are cleaned everyday. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Supervise all employee within the Transportation Department. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS CDL driver's license with passenger endorsement OTHER REQUIREMENTS Must have one year experience in driving the class of vehicle operated and must meet all state and local licensing requirements. Must maintain satisfactory driving records and must take a a mandatory defensive driving safety class. (Refer to Policy #436, Small Vehicle Fleet Policy).
